In serving AscendUSA clients, Melannie’s assists both employers and employees with administrative and eligibility issues and appeals, general questions about plan benefits, and claim issues. Melannie has the perfect combination of experience, knowledge and a passion for customer service to maintain open lines of communications with our clients, ensuring that every issue is handled in the most responsive and professional manner.

Melannie has 24 years of experience in the health insurance industry. From 1986 through 1997, she reviewed, processed, and audited medical, dental and vision claims working with Prudential Insurance, M-Plan, and Great West Life, where she trained all new claims processors in the proper procedures for entering, evaluating and releasing claims. Melannie then took her extensive claims experience and earned her Life and Health Insurance License in 1998. Melannie worked for a general agency in Indianapolis, and then worked with Trustmark Insurance Company before joining AscendUSA in 2001.
